How to verify your phone number

A verified phone number protects your account and is required before funding flows (M-Pesa buys, P2P, withdrawals).

Steps

1. Open Account → Payment Methods (or the verification prompt on the Buy page).
2. Tap Verify phone, enter your number in international format (e.g. +2547… or 07…).
3. We send a 6-digit code by SMS. Enter it to confirm.

Why it matters

Your phone is a second factor of identity. It also lets us send security alerts and confirm M-Pesa payments. Coinwaka will never ask you to share this code with a "support agent" — codes are for you alone.
