Two-factor authentication (2FA) adds a second step at login — a 6-digit code from an app on your phone — so a stolen password alone isn't enough.
Steps
- Open Account → Security → Two-factor authentication.
- Install an authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy, etc.).
- Scan the QR code or enter the key.
- Enter the 6-digit code to confirm.
- Save your recovery codes somewhere safe and offline.
App-based 2FA is safer than SMS because it can't be intercepted by SIM-swap attacks.
