A few minutes of setup protects everything you hold.

Do these now

  1. Strong, unique password — long, not reused anywhere else. Or use a passkey.
  2. Enable 2FA with an authenticator app — see How to enable 2FA.
  3. Set an anti-phishing code so you can spot fake Coinwaka emails — see How anti-phishing code works.
  4. Add a transaction PIN for withdrawals and sensitive actions.
  5. Review your devices and sign out of any you don't recognize.

Never

  • Never share your password, 2FA code, PIN, or recovery codes — not even with "support".
  • Never click login links from messages; type the official URL yourself.
  • Never approve an M-Pesa or login prompt you didn't start.
